“ You might as well know what is right for you”
And make the most of what you like to do
For all the pleasure that´s surrounding you
Should compensate for all you´re going through
So if you´re feeling fraught
With mental strain
Too much thinking´s got you down again
Well let your senses skip
Stay hip
Keep cool
To the thrill of it all.
“”Images of broken light which dance before me like a million eyes
They call me on and on across the universe
Thoughts meander like a restless wind inside a letter box
They tumble blindly as they make their way across the universe

Nothing’s gonna change my world
Nothing’s gonna change my world
Nothing’s gonna change my world

Currently Spinning: Pink Floyd—The Wall
Roger Waters will be constructing The Wall in D.C. tonight. I’ve been going back and forth about the show. Even considered just driving up and searching for a desperate scalper. But I’m staying put tonight.
I saw Pink Floyd in Detroit on their Division Bell Tour. Heard Shine On You Crazy Diamond played to a darkened stadium with only two lasers dancing to Gilmore’s agile fingers. Lost my shit as they played Dark Side of the Moon all the way through in one set. Had the most profound community experience to date singing Comfortably Numb in perfect tempo with thousands of fans.
So, today I build my own little wall at The Coestead. And I hope thousands of other fans get the same treat I did in Detroit years ago as they gather in D.C. tonight.
